White Face - by Gaia

Within each of us there is a place that provides the nurturing and support we need in order to grow, to make a decision, to give and receive love. It is the home of our intiuition. I call it the quiet place.

It is the place which supports all, knows all, but is attached to nothing, yet it holds everything in perspective. 'Many spokes unites to form a wheel . . . but it is the space between which makes them useful' says an old Chinese proverb.

You can cultivate and augment the quiet place by acknowledging it daily. All you need to do is close your eyes and ask for the quiet place to appear.

Sit comfortably ...Take one or two breaths, letting go of any tension. Then breath naturally for few moments. Center your attention on your breath. Watch it, without controling it. Just notice your breathing in and breathing out. Center down ...

The Quiet Place may appear in any number of forms. Each person's is unique. It may be a beautiful landscape, a clearing in the forest, a cave in the mountain, a room in your house, or nothing at all. It may remain constant or may change many times.

So clear your minds, and see what appears.
