We have found that there is a lot of interest in sacred sites, especially from our North American readers. Living in England we are blessed with a large number of ancient religious sites, some over 5,000 years old. Stonehenge is the best known, but Avebury and Silbury Hill are equally fascinating, as are the many stone circles, standing stones, sacred groves and other similar places which dot the landscape.
We will in due course also deal with some important Christian, Buddhist, Islamic, Jewish and other holy places, not just the pre-Christian sites of Britain. We will also welcome your articles on sacred sites in the Americas, and in the rest of the world (preferrably with photographs).
We therefore hope to create a new resource for those of us who have a sense of the importance of time and place.
