I attended a 3 day workshop run recently by Brenda Caldwell who teaches the above technique. I had no previous knowledge of any Energy work let alone the Golden Grid System and did not really know what to expect. At the time I was under a great deal of pressure in my life and if I am being honest thought I was on the verge of being depressed. If I am being really honest there was no verge, I was depressed. I had no energy, could not focus or get clarity on any of the important decisions I had to make, or even the unimportant decisions and was carrying a lot of excess baggage from the past.

I was recommended to look into Energy and Healing by a good friend of mine. I was told it would be useful for me personally, as well as professionally and if I practiced what I had learnt then the effects would be cumulative for me and for others. So I went off to this beautiful Mountain/Valley retreat near Marbella to Study with Brenda Caldwell, as her reputation was EXCELLENT and the technique allegedly UNIQUE AND POWERFUL. 

The first day I thought what's all this nonsense, non touch therapy stuff, my mind was somewhere else, (on all the issues that were bothering me, relationships, work, finances etc ) and I kept asking myself what the heck was I doing there. Then by the second day, I woke up and I realised, my mood felt lighter and I had more energy, like something was beginning to shift in my body and my mind. I could not explain it. We worked the whole day learning techniques and practicing on each other.

I found Brenda's energy to be infectious and when she was using me as practice student, I could really feel the warmth of her hands over my skin. Then at some point I realised my hearing had become more acute and my eyesight clearer and colours brighter. I do not mean in some kind of miracle, slap me on the forehead I can now walk way, it really was a subtle difference but very noticeable.

I would explain it like coming out of the fog, I certainly had more energy and started to be in what I call "the now". You know, in the moment, not thinking about the past so much, or the future, just enjoying being grounded and I had a sense of being in control of my emotions and that had not happened for a while.

By the end of the workshop, I no longer doubted why I was there or what I was doing, it just felt right. As I am just learning I do not pretend to know all the changes that go on in the body and the mind whilst practicing the techniques. THE TECHNIQUES WORK.  

Brenda's method of teaching is easy and clear. She is not some Guru, she is very approachable and I am absolutely convinced she has great skill and power, some might even say a gift. I certainly have felt very different since doing the level 1 workshop and it has helped me to pick myself up and look at my life with renewed energy and confidence. What a difference 3 days of energy makes!
