Jenny had her life completely changed and enhanced by remembering her previous one. She has written two books about past lives, and has recorded a past life meditation CD, to help others change their lives as she did. A successful TV presenter, and Silver Disc songwriter, she's also written the soundtrack for the upcoming TV movie of her book, Ripples (the movie version will be called Souls Don't Lie).
Jenny has been interviewed over 350 times on radio worldwide and has become a recognised authority on past lives and regression. She writes columns and features for five national magazines; and is known to readers of her column on past lives in Chat It's Fate as Madeleine.
P.S.: 'There is so much in a name,' what does your first name mean? Favourite colour? Soul number (sum of the digits of your date of birth reduced to numbers between 1 and 9. example: 12.04.1956= 1+2+4+1+9+5+6=3+4+3=1)
Jenny: Jennifer originates in Wales and means 'White Spirit'. I only just found that out in answer to your question and I'm delighted! Thank you! My favourite colour is lilac, and all shades of that colour. My soul number is '5' which means I have to constantly be mentally stimulated, which explains why I answered you so quickly! I am always in a rush to be onto the next thing.
P.S.: why do you do what you do? When did you start? And what is in it for you-personally?
Jenny: I do what I do because of this: It became clear to me why my past life as Madeleine, and that I remember it, was very important to the 'powers that be', one day while I was on a train. I was travelling to a live TV show, and thought I'd do a bit of meditating to prepare myself. It all went as normal at first. I felt myself sinking into what I like to think of as the warm arms of my Past Life Angel, who had become quite familiar to me by then. I went deeper, deeper than I had for a long time, and suddenly I was thrust in front of another angel. At the time I had no idea what it was.
I had an impression of vast golden light towering above me. I had an overwhelming tidal surge wash over me - a love so deep, that it transcended human love by a magnitude. This love was given and reciprocated on an equal footing. It's very hard to describe the whole gamut of emotion and feelings that flooded through me. It can only be understood when it's experienced. It is overwhelming, and makes it very clear in a second, that all we know and hold dear of this physical world is as unimportant in reality as a grain of dust in the vastness of the Universe.
The feeling was almost like a dog and master, it terms of devotion, but with absolutely NO subservience at all. The love and the obligation was given and received in total equality. I felt divine, and yet at the same time I was like a child wanting to please a parent. Not because I felt I had to or out of duty, but because pleasing the parent would fill me with joy and double my own happiness.
I was shown a scenario by this being; it contained three paths; one central path and two smaller ones running parallel with it. The side paths were my first book, Ripples, and my connection to past life soul mate, Garth Brooks. The central path showed a person being given the role of 'seed planter'. This person would set seeds in people, while sharing her story with millions all over America; the millions of people, in part, being attracted initially by the 'Garth Brooks connection'. I was shown that this person would be attacked at times, maybe even physically, and might eventually have to live in a protected environment. The 'being' paused, while I considered what I was patently being offered.
Instinctively, without any hesitation at all, I said, 'Let me! Let me!' I was desperate and determined to be given the task of seed planter. I would have done whatever I had been asked. Making this being happy was the very same thing that would make me happy. The being said simply, "Okay." It was as just like that, but it was also binding.
Thus, I was walking my pathway for the first time, with devotion and commitment. This commitment brings passion for advancement, and fulfilment from each tiny step forward. This is the secret to abiding and true happiness. Having a goal that you know as your true goal and walking in your truth, despite opposition from cynics. I had finally remembered who I was, and what I was here for, and it makes me happy, which is why I do it.
This was in 1998, but the journey started in 1995 (which is all chronicled in my book, Ripples).
P.S.: A Turning point: Was there a teacher, a book, or an event that inspired/influenced what you do, or started you on your path?
Jenny: A woman I met who used crystals to heal, answered a question for me in an extraordinary way. I was trying to find an answer to the question of why a man in America could lift my depression, even though I'd never met him. The lady replied, "Not in this life maybe." That was the first time I thought about past lives and what started my journey into my own soul's history. It also started my interest in crystals.
P.S.: An unusual, special or extraordinary memory of an experience that still sticks in your mind? What was the significance of it for you, etc. (something that you do not mind sharing)?
Jenny: I think the angle experience as above is the most memorable. Second would be meeting my past life soul-mate, Garth Brooks.
P.S.: What are you working on currently, and what is your next project?
Jenny: I am putting the finishing touches to my next book, Past Life Angels, which will be out next year with O Books.
P.S. A favourite book/quote you were inspired/influenced by?
Jenny: "One man can't change the whole world, but he can change the world for one person." I don't know who said it.
P.S.: You are going on a much deserved holiday, what treasured items are you most likely to always pack and take with you?
Jenny: My dog :) I would also take computer discs with my work on, and an abundance of crystal necklaces!
P.S.: What would you like to be when you 'grow up'?
Jenny: An adult? No, not really. I'd like to be less selfish and make less mistakes of judgement. Career-wise I love doing what I do. It's what I came here for.
P.S.: When you are not working, how do you have fun?
Walking the dog mostly, but I'm REALLY lucky that my work is fun, so I have fun pretty much most of the time.
P.S.: If there is a next life, what would you choose to come back as? Why?
Jenny: I rather hope I don't have to come back.
P.S.: If there is no next life, how do you imagine you would be spending your time 'up there' anyway?
Jenny: If I was 'up there' I'd like to spend my time doing what I do now, but with my soul clan around me.
