The Origins of Tarot
For the first time ever, the real origins of the Tarot have been uncovered, and with a startling discovery - that the Tarot is no less than a powerful tool for spiritual development, until now known to very few, and decoded by none other than the greatest American psychic ever, Edgar Cayce. The Tarot of the Revelation is a tool both for advanced Tarot readers and for those seeking spiritual growth, and while traditional Tarot systems follow the Marseilles or the Rider-Waite systems, the Tarot of the Revelation draws on a far older and richer source - the Bible.
The Secret of Man's Spiritual Journey
The Book of Revelation has been protected by a curse for two millennia, but now its secrets are finally revealed! This 240-page book teaches you how to use a regular Tarot deck both in divination and as a tool of spiritual growth, with full interpretations on its use, empowering exercises and affirmations straight from the Book of Revelation with spiritual lessons from Edgar Cayce. A full and unique explanation of the key metaphysical concepts underlying the Tarot, the Bible, and Man's spiritual journey. A complete history of the origin of the Book of Revelation, its secret message, and its importance for us all today.
That, in a nutshell, sums up the book. I came to write by accident; I had studied Tarot for many years, using the Marseilles system. Then in 1999 I came across a book about Edgar Cayce, in it the author talked about Atlantic University, which was founded by Cayce. I studied metaphysics there, especially concerning Cayce, and graduated in 2003 with a Masters in Transpersonal Studies.
The same year I started teaching in Japan, and one class I taught was about Cayce's interpretation of the Book of Revelation. One day, I suddenly understood that one of the images in Tarot was from this text in the Bible. I then studied further and found the others.
The Book of Revelations and the Tarot
Then the whole thing fell into place, there were too many coincidences to say it was just chance; for example the Revelation starts with a solitary man and contains 22 chapters, just like the Tarot. 14 of the images are in the same order in the Revelation as in Tarot. The 3 x 7 structure of the Tarot is nearly (one chapter difference) perfectly resolved in the Book of Revelation too. I did further research and the story came clear. Cayce explains how the Revelation is a coded story showing (with exercises) how man can rediscover his divinity.
I believe that many people have known about this secret hidden in the Book of Revelation, but because it was heretical and therefore dangerous, it was kept hidden. But the Church of Rome's efforts to stamp out heresy in the 1300-1500's meant that the secret may be lost forever.
The 'Fool's' Journey- Going Private
So with the advent of printing, the story of the Revelation was put on cards and other extraneous symbolism was added to protect it from the Inquisition. It was successful, but people lost the real meanings of the cards, which is what I have put together. I thought that this story was too important not to be made public.
As publishers weren't interested, or more correctly didn't read the MS properly, I took it upon myself to publish it privately. The book is now available for sale, and the cards will be ready before June. About $15 + p&p. Only for sale via the Internet and Author's Proof Publishing Inc., Tokyo).
We are burning the midnight oil in an attempt to get these cards ready for sale before June. We have several challenges in maintaining both the original Tarot order while making them available as a course in spiritual growth. There are details here that you will have never seen before, that will change your understanding of not only Tarot, but also our very belief systems. If you write to me to order the cards, I will send you an email when they are ready.
Would Anybody Like To Design A Set of Cards for the Tarot of the Revelation? The descriptions are all given in the Book of Revelation, but different people have different ways of presenting the designs. I would be happy to support a different interpretation, and promote it on my homepage. Please contact me.
