Our broadcasts, or Podcasts, will include a regular news bulletin, available at least weekly, in addition to interviews, advice on your spiritual and personal development, and other related material.  We believe that we are the FIRST psychic and spiritual Website in the world to provide this service, and we also look forward to welcoming more regular visitors (and listeners!) to our Sites.

Subscribing to Podcasts
The process of subscribing to Podcasts is very simple, using a "Podcatcher" program (we will give you information on where to find free program below) your PC can download our latest Podcasts, without having to even look at the Psychicsahar.com Website.  So Psychicsahar.com and PS-Magazine.com will in fact become Internet radio stations, but ones which you can subscribe and get the latest broadcasts without having to be online at a specific time, and you can, if you wish, listen to the broadcasts in your car, or in the train, on the way to work, or whenever you get a moment to relax.  

Most people will just use Apple's iTunes program which comes with your iPod (also available to all for from their Web Site, www.apple.com/itunes/, and click on the "Podcast" section, open the directory and type "psychic" in the search box.  ITunes is the best known "Podcatcher" program, others are listed below.

 

iPods/MP3 Players, How Does it Work?

Many of you will already own an Apple i-Pod, or similar MP3 player, even the Queen of England and President Bush use one, so it is no longer something that is exclusively for teenagers.  But as we said, if you don't have an i-Pod you can still listen to our Podcasts on your PC's sound system.

 

Amazon is a good place to check out these products - currently the iPod Nano is now the gadget that everyone wants, it's only 3.5 x 1.6 x 0.27 inches and 1.5 ounces and yet can take 1,000 songs (or Podcasts!)- [Amazon.co.uk link]. The Apple 20 GB iPod M9282LL/A is the one of the best selling iPod on Amazon.com, US$210.

 

There is also the Apple 30 GB iPod Photo M9829LL/A at US$375.99. In the UK, on Amazon.co.uk, the Apple iPod 20GB [MA079B/A] is currently a best seller at £194.99.

 

Larger and smaller capacity (prices vary accordingly) models are also available, including the New Apple iPod 60GB [M9830B/A], with a 2-inch colour LCD screen, this can hold up to 15,000 songs, or up to 25,000 photos - £279.98 in the UK.

 

The Emprex 6GB MP3 Player with FM Tuner and Voice Recording, at £109.99 in the UK, is another interesting player, well worth considering. Other manufacturers of MP3 players include i-River, Sony, Creative Labs and Toshiba. See Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk for more information.

 

Special Software for "Podcatching"

• You can just use the programs already installed on your PC, such as Quicktime, to listen to the sound files on our Websites (if you have problems you need to talk to the person who set the PC up).  However if you wish to "get with the program" you will need to download and install a Podcatcher program, there are a number of these available and most are free.  Most also support Windows and Apple iTunes (the iPod software).

 

• One alternative to iTunes is Doppler, available from http://dopplerradio.net , there is also iPodder free from http://ipodder.sourceforge.net/ and has Mac and Windows versions, it only supports Apple iTunes - ideal for iPod users. A third program, also free, is jPodder, available from http://jpodder.com and this supports Windows Media Player and Apple iTunes.  For Mac PCs there is also PoddumFeeder from http://ifthensoft.com offered for the price of US$4.95, which should not break the bank.  

 

• Once installed and set up - you need the reference http://www.psychicsahar.com/psychic.xml in order to retrieve our Podcasts - you can retrieve all our Podcasts at your leisure, and add them to iTunes, or the program that came with your MP3 player - and listen when you wish.
