People frequently come to me, as new clients, for a psychic reading because an aspect of their life is out of balance, or blocked. Mostly these clients are concerned about relationship, or career problems. What they normally realise, at the end of their reading, is that all areas of our life are inter-connected, and that an aspect of their soul's purpose is not fulfilled.
I try to make them understand that in order for life to be harmonious, a holistic, or universal, approach to their life is need. Love, creativity, personal growth, finance and career are all interlinked; nothing that we experience is separate from the other parts of our life. You can read more about this inter-relationship in my spiritual DIY column in Prediction magazine. My articles are also posted in my own online magazine Psychic & Spirit.
If a client experiences a problem in romance, for example, it is very often a symptom of imbalance in other aspects of their life, and not the problem itself. Their soul, if you like, is not in harmony. All areas of our lives are interlinked. If all your efforts are focused on one area of your life, and you ignore issues which are related to your personal and spiritual growth, your own development, can become lop-sided, and you may experience symptoms, which show themselves as problems in areas like love, finances, or health.
Although your life's path is not predestined, you will have an ideal template for the course of your life, the map which will lead you to your life's purpose - and that is rarely to have the largest car on the block or the largest house, or the richest or best looking partner. That is not to suggest that most of us have to follow a life of poverty and prayer, our life's purpose may require us to acquire riches; that may be our test in life, and of course to use our wealth wisely and without losing sight of our humanity.
To have a balanced harmonious life, our approach needs to be holistic, focusing on the sum, not just one part. Think of it this way: if you have a home with many rooms, would you just live in one and ignore all others?
In order to see the big picture, try asking yourself about your true situation. For example:
- Are you financially independent, or do you struggle with finances?
- Have you developed your potential abilities to the fullest, or is your life a story of missed opportunities?
- Do you normally see yourself as a victim, or as a player in life?
- Do you blame others for your situation, or are you in command of your life?
- Do you value your own life first, or have you become dependent on the opinions and will of others?
- Do you honour your life, and love yourself enough, or do you always put others first to your own detriment?
The answers to all these questions help you understand your life's purpose, the way you react to life's challenges; including love and relationships. In other words, how to change from having a victim-mentality, to having a creator-mentality.
In Arabic there is a saying at times, when all is not going well, which goes like this: "my soul is tired". Literally, it translates to "my soul is disintegrated"; which literally means, bits of it are everywhere. This is why we might feel tired, drained, in despair, and unfocused. Just remember, what goes on in your life, reflects your soul's calling towards integrating various aspects of your life.
I wish you well.
