Dear Michael Joseph
I received a copy of your book for Christmas and started reading it last night. I'm about half way through and really don't know what to make of it at all. I would like to add that I too have experience of Diana. She came to me in an extremely vivid dream and I wrote a poem about it and would like to take the opportunity of forwarding it to you.
The dream caught me by surprise as I had little knowledge of Diana and her concerns in India at the time.
I know nothing whatsoever of India but in the dream I found myself on the floor of a mud hut trying to help a poor woman who had recently given birth. She was living in terribly filthy conditions and surrounded by other small children. Faeces were all over the floor and I was attempting to clear it up. Trying to help.
Suddenly white light (I myself kneeling) Diana appeared above, immaculate in white and silver, her hair beautiful and she leaned down to me and said one word. That was it. I woke up. I went in search of several dictionaries and looked for all the definitions of the word I could find. Satisfied I tried to change my life. It was as simple as that. I have never forgotten the dream and have had no more.
Here for you is the poem:
Enigma of the Huntress
Across a mind in dream a form
hovered as white diamond light
bedazzled by the entity;
belief and trust and loyalty.
Who once upon a purple time
when footsteps fell on sodden ground
and absolute; fair gaze intense
conveyed a word and all it meant.
The word of import for mankind
a little wisdom hard to find
and keep and hold in all men's hearts
until death comes and so departs.
Across a famished soul in dream
hovered as white diamond light;
belief and trust and loyalty
without verification: Indefinitely
by Gillian E Shaw.
I wish you well and will enjoy discovering more of your book- I'm on chapter 4.
