The True Story of the CIA's Paranormal Espionage

This a book which was first published in 1996 in the US and Britain. In it David Morehouse tells how he was recruited by the CIA for its remote viewing programme and he gives examples of the achievements of the remote viewers and the methods employed.  Do not confuse this book, which is factual, with two books with the same title by Robert Doherty.

The author, in his introductory note, says, "Psychic Warrior is a journey through time and space. It is a private witness to one man's rise, awakening, fall, and rebirth. It is a testimony to life outside the physical dimension, to the gift of remote viewing, to hope for all humanity, and to the reality of those who would preclude you from ever hearing the message."

I imagine most of you become interested in psychic matters in order to take and gain some guidance on aspects of your lives (lovers, money and children for example), but I expect that few of you realized that psychic abilities are also a security issue.

The Russians were the first people to regularly use psychics for the purposes of spying, but the US rapidly acquired its own expertise. After a number of false starts the US programme developed the "remote viewing" methodology. Although the programme has officially been closed, you may think that something like it continues to be part of the US Government's security apparatus.

David MorehouseThe author, a convert to the Mormon Church, joined the US Army and became an officer with the Rangers.  In 1987 he took part in a training exercise in Jordan where he received a head wound from a bullet.

After the bullet strike him he began to experience visions; the first one being a a vision of small group of people, dressed in white, who told him that they had called him to give him instructions. They said that, “you are to know from this point forward that what you have chosen to do in the world is wrong. Your choice is wrong. ….. Pursue peace.  Teach peace, and the path to it will be made known to you.”

After service in the Rangers he was assigned to military intelligence, and he told the unit psychologist of his experiences after receiving the head wound. As a result he was recruited into Project Sun Streak, the US’s remote viewing unit.

The programme had been in existence since 1974 and Morehouse was trained in the techniques of remote viewing (“RV”), including the ability to move along the time line into the past and into the future.  He was taught that there are parallel worlds that touch and intersect ours constantly, and that there is a world of deceivers. The remote viewers used biofeedback machines to achieve a theta state before viewing.

In addition to remote viewing the section also used channelling, but this was not as successful in producing effective results. During his training Morehouse visited the Ark of the Covenant and was told that the Ark was part of a dimensional opening. He also travelled the surface of Mars and went back into its past to a time when there were signs of life.

Morehouse also had a second encounter with an angel, the angel was very loving and gentle and told him that them were meeting in another dimension, parallel to the normal world. The angel warned him that a difficult time lay ahead of him, but that the angel would always be with him, “even through your darkest hours.”

Morehouse had a number of other interesting experiences, including visiting an alien world. The Sun Streak programme delivered real and useful intelligence during the war on drugs, and in understanding the way in which the Lockerbie bombing had been undertaken.

Morehouse was then moved from Sun Streak by the US Army, but returned on a temporary basis for the First Gulf War, and saw the Iraqis use chemical and biological weapons, a use that the US Government denied. Morehouse transferred to the 82nd Airborne, but in 1993 he decided to go public with information about remote viewing. He left the US Army after a difficult period in which great pressure was put on him by the intelligence arm of the Army. He finally resigned his commission in 1994. He then started to remote view on a commercial basis.

This is an important book and those interesting in the process of remote viewing may also like to read other books about the subject that have been published since Morehouse published this book. www.davidmorehouse.com/home.html
