How are you? I hope you had a lovely holiday. I was wondering if you could give me some advice. I came to see you at the beginning of August for a reading (I attached a picture -don't laugh- so you can remember me). Since, I have been meditating and trying to get in touch with my spirit guide. 

Can you recommend any books or advice that you could give me, or workshops that I could go to? I know it takes time and patience.

Are in the UK (that I cannot remember)? I am pleased that you are interested in your own development. I hope you will find that your journey of self-discovery is as exciting as mine was - still is).

Depends on what your focus is. Is it general spiritual/psychic development? If so, good places to start at are SAGB, and London College of psychic studies. You will find their details in my Alternative Resources page and more in this article: List of Holistic Organisations In London.

They now offer far more variety of topics and teachers than when I started. Write or email the organisations for their brochure, and check their web site for the latest courses, or lectures (choose either, depending on your free time), and then you can plan what you feel inclined to know more about accordingly.

If your interest is channelling and seeking inspiration, then you might also want to check Tony Neate's School of Channelling.
