The Silva Method Course in Developing Intuition, And Trusting A Psychic Reading

Hello Sahar

I have been reading articles on your website with much interest.

I plan to arrange a reading with you at some time after Christmas but in the meantime I wonder if you could answer a question.

I have been looking into the 'Silva method' and have ordered a few books on the subject. In articles written by Jose Silva, he states that 'clairvoyant and psychic experiences' are bought about by accessing the 'right hemisphere of the brain.  If this is so, would there by any need to look into any other areas of psychic/spiritual development? Or would studying the 'Silva method' be enough?

I have been interested in psychic and spiritual subjects for a good number of years but as yet have been unable to stick to any one method of developing this skill! I suppose I have become a little confused with various self-help programs and flit from one to the other hoping each time to find one that suits. I have also had many psychic/spiritual readings that have cost a fortune over the years but nearly all have been vague and confusing!

I realise you are very busy, but would be very grateful if you could offer some advice.

Warm regards

Sharon Davies.

Dear Sharon,

The greatest force in the universe that makes everything happen is INTENTION. What is yours? Write it down, so you are clear about your objectives, and then watch the universe send the right people, books, and or courses!

The psychic spiritual field is vast. Depends on what is it that you want to know and perhaps why. The Silva method is a great course, that I would advice everyone to do. If this is only one course one would ever do, let it be the Silva Method. It is all about intuition and how to use it in a creative and practical way. And it works.

Read Taking Charge section of PS Magazine, where you can read first hand what readers and clients experienced in various courses as well as the Silva Method. Also, this lady tapped into her past live as she was practising Silva methods- read her account:

Life is Fun, Look For The Magic!
Thoughts on Silva Method Course by a Graduate- J. R. Kydd. As she began practicing new techniques, she started writing a novel. Later on, by "pure chance", she discovered that events and places she wrote about existed as she experienced them in her mind's eye!

When I did it thirteen years ago, it gave me a good start, I also continued on with Graduate and Ultra Silva seminars because it appealed to me. It was based on many years of scientific findings and research by Jose Silva. We were about 400 people at the time, and ALL managed to tap into their intuition just from the attending the basic course! Compared to costs of other courses, it is really good value for money, and most of all they do not try to brainwash you!

So it is up to you how far you want to go. What Silva does, is teach you techniques to get into Alpha state of brain, where your mind can start exploring psychic and spiritual dimension. Do you want to open up and be able to use your talents professionally, or do you seek self growth and spiritual awareness? Whichever, it is always better to do it under supervision when you start, that is be part of a group develop it under the supervision of a teacher.

If you are in London, I recommend S.A.G.B, and College of Psychic Studies. Also, there is School of channelling which allows you to open up and be 'inspired' in a practical way as well. The founder, Tony Neate has his own column, Neate Ideas, in PS-Magazine, where you can read more about channelling or inspired communication, as others call it.

In the mean time, here few good books to read to start with:

- Seth Speaks

- Opening to Channel

- Channelling for Everyone.

Do the read the books listed above. They will help you a great deal. See how you feel after that, and if you wish to contiue please read the article below which includes more information, when you are ready, about what also helped me a great deal:

Psychic Matters: Agony Aunt
Spiritual Guides, Past lives, and Developing Intuition
I am really interested in finding out more about myself, my spirit guide(s), past lives etc. It really fascinates me so any details you could give me would be really appreciated. I am also very keen to develop my own intuition.

As for psychic readings, well let your intuition guide you. If you feel the reading has been off, then ignore it. You have self will-use it! I might mention also, it is not always good to have so many readings done; otherwise you are robbing yourself of your own intuition and self will, and relying on someone else to guide you.

I recommend that a person tracks their readings and changes and do their homework, then once things happen to schedule another reading, Otherwise your aura, your energy or patterns are the same, and nothing would have developed. It all starts and ends with the individual Sharon, not the psychic. Please read Why Visit an Astrologer? by Jessica Murray ; this will give you an insight.

Big part of getting in touch with our own psyche is dreams. It is 30% of our life. So get to write your dreams and try to understand them. Ask your mind a question. Finally, do your research and check the psychic out. See of others have been to them, often that is a good guide.

Lots of love and light to you

Sahar
