Turkish Coffee Cup Reading
More Symbols in My Coffee Cup: Seahorse, Pig and Devil!

A Turkish friend of mine is a minor coffee reader who learned from his aunt. I found most of the things to be true, though he was not a full fledged reader he gave me insight on things that were going on in my life.
Neither of us could figure out what a seahorse stood for nor a pig with a neck. I also had a devil, I’m not fully worried for I had slightly disturbed the cup, on my saucer. Kinda’ freaked me out. If you have any insight on what those things mean I would hope that you could let me know. He also read my cousins coffee and told her of the man she is seeing know, who travels a lot. I found the experience fun and exciting as well as quite insightful on things to come.

Dear S.,
What a lovely email-thank you! I'm sorry I was unable to reply earlier. May I ask how did you hear about me?
Interpreting symbols, in coffee cups or any other form of psychic reading, is very much a personal thing as it also involves cultural background, images and metaphors that we develop according to our cultural heritage, experience of life, and what we ‘grew up on’. Accordingly, symbols ‘trigger’ different representations or meanings for each of us; and we relate to symbols in an individual way too. When in doubt-just ask in your mind (or let the ‘cup reader’ ask in their mind) what a symbol means and what is it trying to convey. I find that works!
I love sea horses! For me they always stood for good news, specifically an engagement or news of commitment.
Pig with a neck, what does that mean to you? To me, it triggers a funny image, as we often see pigs in cartoons. So perhaps it denotes the lighter side of things "do not forget to stick your neck out and have some fun"- a reminder to lighten up, and not take life seriously.
Devil: reflects someone's state of mind, or fears that are occupying the mind, denoting that the cup drinker needs to relax, and stop worrying.
Hope you keep up the ancient art of coffee cup reading. I too, think it is very insightful as well as fun.
Love and light, and happy holidays
