And the Gods said:

Time is passing centuries; eternity is a bore

What would make us laugh?

Let's have a ball.

We'll improvise,

The Moon said.

What she yearns for,

We'll send as a surprise.

Judgment said:

He'll be a knight on a quest

But we really know,

it's only a test.

The Empress said:

She'd jump with joy

After the Tower,

Dare she protest?

And the Lovers said:

let's complicate the vision

Put an obstacle or two; light his desire

Mould his ambition; give him a choice or two.

Will it be his decision,

Or her mission?

We'll create a challenge and

Watch how they manage.

The Hanged Man said:

I'll give her time on her hands

And nowhere to go.

He'll live in a city or two

Three oceans to

Separate them

For time's sake,

let's make them a few.

The Sun smiled:

Every vacation

Will be when they meet.

Listen, to their hearts throb

Or watch them bleed!

And the Devil said:

I'll make this bond a commotion

They'll ride on the Wheel Of Fortune.

Under the Moonlight, watch them handle this confusion.

The Hermit said: I’ll guide her give her a clue.

Haste is waste, patience is a virtue.

To know the answer,

She must walk down the avenue,

It'll be life's experience.

(in solitary

I echoed:

but for whom?)

And the Magician said:

Things come for those who wait

But not for those, who

wait too late.

I'll fire her heart, but

Communication won't be due.

There'll be mountains to overcome

Would the Chariot pull them through?

The Fool said:

what shall succumb?

Will she take the risk?

Or would she instead run?

And I said:

This game is over my head

Computer, abort program

Insert another diskette!
