taught me much about living spiritually, and others were
elemental in my own life journey.

Quest For The Crystal Castle , by Dan Millman, Amazon USA

My Guardian Angel , by Samara Anjelae, Martha Elizabeth Ferguson - illustrator, ( Amazon USA ) .
This is the perfect all-occasion gift for children and adults. The book stimulates imagination and creativity while fostering love and optimism. Other titles in the Wonder Window series include My Fairy Godmother and My Magical Mermaid.
This series is generally a very good start. Information in this book is concise and comprehensive, includes section on dowsing and how to grow your crystals. I have also read the Astral Projection and Runes books, which are other books by the Discover series.
Living Magically: A New Vision of Reality, by Gill Edwards.
This is one of my favourite books it:"offers a new vision of reality. The
Silva Method: Tapping the Secrets of Your Mind for Total
Self-mastery Jose Silva, Philip Miele, Souvenir Press Ltd pub. 2000. An
introduction to the Silva Method, but the best thing is
to go on one of their courses rather than read this book.

Dreams
Dreams are the language of communication between the conscious and the subconscious. These two books are beautifully illustrated and well written guide books, by authorities in their field. They offer good background and insight into the key of deciphering dream language. Both are beautiful to look at, hold and read.
The
Lucid Dreamer- a Waking Guide for the Traveler Between
Worlds by Malcolm Godwin, pub. 1994 Simon & Schuster. This is absolutely my favorite. I first received it as
a present, and bought many copies to give to friends.
It also contains many exercises on lucid dreaming.
Journeys Out of the Body Robert A. Monroe Souvenir Press Ltd 1989.
This is a classic work on out of body travel by Robert Monroe who since then has set up the Monroe Institute to help others discover their true selves beyond the physical body .Highly recommended .

The Book Of Colour Healing, by Theo Gimbel, pub 1994 Gaia Books (out of print - 2nd hand). Theo is a renowned colour researcher and practitioner, maintaining the link between scientific and spiritual matters.The above book prompted me to sign up to many residential courses with Theo Gimbel, Hygeia College of Colour therapy. I still use the unique colour cards he developed for meditation.
The Numerology Kit (Plume Books), by Carol Adrienne.
Wonderful book- I searched long to find. Strongly recommended. Hans Holzer's Psychic Yellow Pages: The Very Best Psychics, Card Readers, Mediums, Astrologers and Numerologists, by Hans Holzer, Ph.D., Citadel Press, NY, USA, 2001. Hans is a renowned psychic investigator, and the author of more than 126 books on the paranormal. This book is an A-Z directory of everything related to psychic phenomena, including listings of psychics personally known by him; and crammed with information and advice. I am also mentioned in this!
The Psychic Explorer- A Practical Guide to Modern Magic by Jonathan Cainer & Carl Rider, pub. 1988 Piatkus Books. A down to earth, well-illustrated comprehensive book on the arts: astrology, tarot, palmistry, Aromatics, ESP, Auras, dowsing and ceremonial magic.
Discover your Psychic Powers- A Practical Guide to Psychic Development and Spiritual Growth by Tara Ward, pub. 2000 Arcturus. Written in simple, and factual style, this book is complete guide to all psychic practices. Really good meditation and visualization exercises. This is where I adopted the Cleansing Aura, and Cleansing Space visualization from. Excellent starting point, and sound advice. I have contacted Tara Ward through her publishers, who promised to reply, inviting her to contribute her thoughts in PS Magazine- but have not heard back yet! Still, I strongly recommend this book.

Tarot Meditations, by Mary K. Greer, pub New Page (out of print). Mary Greer is an authority on tarot.
All her books are fascinating and exceptionally informative. I love these books.
Way of Cartouche: Oracle of Ancient Egyptian Magic, by Murray Hope. My friend and former teacher, Merryn Jose, was one of the first psychics to use these wonderful cards. Since then, I have been using them too. These are the larger size cards which come with a hard back insightful book on Egyptian Mythology.

Russian Gypsy Fortune Telling Cards, by, Svetlana A. Touchkoff, published December 20, 1991. The images are illustrated beautifully. Pictures emerge as you rotate the cards to form complete image. Ideal to use once a month for a general overview, as author suggests.
Titania's Fortune Cards, by, Titania Hardie, published July 01, 2001. I use these cards nearly everyday to gain extra insight. Modern colorful images, and very easy to use.

7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Powerful Lessons in
Personal Change
This
book was first published in 1989 and has sold in huge numbers
around the world. Stephen Covey worked for IBM's Executive
Development Program developing material on communication
and perception. He came to the realization of how deeply
bedded our perceptions are, he says, "It taught me
that we must look at the lens through which we see the world,
as well as at the world we see, and that the lens itself
shapes how we interpret the world." Read

account of the influence of synchronicity on his life is
well written and interesting. He describes how he became
dissatisfied with his successful life-style, he was a highly
paid trial lawyer, and wanted to do something else. He resisted
this, but details a number of influences and incidents that

Coming Back Alive, The Case for Reincarnation – Joe Fisher, pub. Souvenir Press, London 2001. This book, originally published in Canada, and with a foreword by the Dalai Lama, is an excellent review of the published literature on reincarnation, with special emphasis on recent books recounting the experiences of individuals. five books mentioned below are, in my opinion, building
blocks to developing spiritual awareness. You will understand
the dynamics of soul and its relationship to people, events,
karma, and its cosmic role.Highly recommended.

The Elegant Universe - Super Strings, Hidden Dimensions, and the Quest for the Ultimate Theory - Brian Greene, pub. 2000 Vintage. This is not a spiritual book in the strict sense. But I listed it here as we are closer to the universe! Winner of The Aventis Science Book Prize 2000. "It's a delightful, lucid voyage through modern physics that brings us closer to understanding how the universe works". Highly recommended.

Fireworks, by Jill Wellington and her mother, Edna Mae Holm. A mystery novel that teaches the concept of synchronicity, plunking a crusty detective named Webb Hannis into the middle of a murder mystery. Hannis suffers a head injury at the Fireworks Festival, and when he awakens, he can see his spirit guide Samuel. This book uses quantum physics to describe mystical concepts such as the immortality of the soul, reincarnation, and the afterlife. The author describes consciousness as more than an abstract concept - it is a reality that is primary and fundamental to science.
The Holographic Universe Michael Talbot, Harper Collins 1985. Despite its apparent materiality, the universe is actually a kind of 3-D projection and is ultimately no more real than a hologram, a 3-D image projected in space and made with the aid of a laser.
